This podcast is all about women's empowerment. It is dedicated to inspiring and empowering women to reach their full potential. The conversation, once it starts, can go anywhere. Sometimes, we invite successful women from all industries and backgrounds. Additionally, in some episodes, we’ll talk to experts who share practical tips on personal and professional development. Every episode is something different, but, in the end, it’s all about women’s empowerment.

What is women's empowerment? 

It’s about enabling women to achieve their full potential and to participate equally in all areas of life. It includes promoting gender equality, creating supportive environments for women, and giving women what they need to make their own choices.  

Why is it important to support women's empowerment? 

Women's empowerment is important because it helps to create a better society. When women are empowered, they can live the lives that they want, without doubt holding them back. They can also serve as role models for future generations of women. 

What is fear and why is it important to overcome it? 

Fear is an emotion. It is a survival mechanism, often triggered by a perceived threat or danger. But, when it is constant, it can hold us back from reaching our goals and living our best lives. When Johari freed herself from fear, she became more confident, resilient, and capable of achieving her dreams. 

How do I know if fear is holding me back? 

There are many ways fear manifests. Procrastination, self-doubt, avoidance, self-sabotage and anxiety are just some of them. If you find yourself avoiding opportunities because of fear, or if you feel stuck or trapped in your current circumstances fear may be a contributing factor. 

How to overcome my fears? 

There is no one-size-fits-all answer. The process of overcoming it is different for everyone. However, some strategies are helpful for everyone, including facing your fears in a safe and controlled environment, reframing your thoughts and beliefs about fear, and practicing mindfulness and relaxation techniques. This is exactly the kind of thing we discuss on the podcast. 

Is it possible to completely eliminate fear? 

Not really, but you also don’t want to eliminate it entirely. You just don’t want it to keep you from living the life that you want. You want to reduce fear, to be able to face it, to manage it, to only be afraid when it’s absolutely necessary and no other time.
