Johari's Journey

There was a time in my life when I kept quiet about what I wanted because I was terrified of disappointing the people around me. I agreed to things I didn’t like, played the “easygoing” role, and convinced myself my needs were simple. In reality, I was miserable—and much more complicated than I ever admitted.

Everything shifted after a long, exhausting custody and divorce battle. Survival—mine and my kids’—became the priority. I realized that staying silent wasn’t an option anymore. I needed a new mindset.

So I started facing my fear of speaking up. I created mantras to ground myself, strengthen my resolve, and keep my mind steady through the chaos. It was the beginning of learning how to actually use my voice.
